嘉宾简介：
陆毅博士现任清华大学经管学院教授、博导，。2007年在香港大学获得博士学位后，他先留校担任助理教授（研究）三年，然后于2010年加入新加坡国立大学经济系，并于2014年获得长聘副教授。陆毅博士的主要研究领域是国际贸易，中国经济和应用微观经济学。近十年在American Economic Journal: Applied Economics、Review of Economics and Statistics、Journal of International Economics、Journal of Labor Economics、Management Science、Journal of Development Economics等国际顶尖期刊发表50篇论文。
内容简介：Combining rich firm and administrative data, this paper examines the incidence and effectiveness of a prominent place-based policy in China: Special Economic Zones. Establishing zones is found to have had a positive effect on capital investment, employment, output, productivity and wages, and to have increased the number of firms in the designated area. Net entry plays a larger role in explaining the effects than incumbents. A structural analysis suggests that the program yielded net benefits of about US$11.85billion over two years. Capital-intensive industries benefit more than labor-intensive ones from the zone programs.
